TYPICAL JOBS AND PAY

  • Liberty Staffing specializes in filling a wide variety of general labor Construction, Manufacturing, Logistics, Skilled Trades and Hospitality jobs.

Pay rates vary from job to job. You will know the pay rate for every job before you accept it.

HOLIDAYS

Holidays are typically not paid for employees. If you’ve been pre-dispatched to work on a holiday, any applicable state and/or federal wage laws will apply.

Liberty Staffing observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. Most branches are typically closed on these days. Check with your branch staff if you’ve been assigned to work on one of these days for any operational updates.

BENEFITS

We offer a variety of affordable health plans for you and your family. Options include Fixed Indemnity Medical Plans, a Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plan and a Major Medical (MVP) plan to those who qualify. The MEC and MVP satisfy the individual mandate for the Affordable Care Act. In addition, we offer supplemental plan choices to include Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, and a Critical Illness, Accident, Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Package. Upon becoming a new associate for Liberty Staffing you will receive information on your benefit options.

RECEIVING JOB ASSIGNMENTS

  • Job assignments

When you are assigned to a job, you will be told what the job duties are, the location of the job site, the pay rate, dress code and whether you will be required to use any safety equipment. You are always free to decline a job for any reason but please let your local Liberty Staffing branch know.

GETTING PAID

  • Turning in your time tickets /work tickets as soon as your done with your job assignment is very important. We Start our payroll process Monday morning, so we can get everyone paid on Friday.
  • We offer pay cards and direct deposit for quick and easy payment. Our pay card works just like a credit card and doesn’t require you to have a bank account. Speak with branch staff to learn more about either of these options.

MAKE SURE WE CAN REACH YOU

Keeping info updated: It’s important to keep all your contact information updated. We want to put you to work, but we can’t if we can’t reach you. Do we have your most updated contact info, including email and mobile number? If not, contact your local branch to update.

CONTACT YOUR BRANCH

MEDCOR IN CASE OF WORKPLACE INJURY

If you get hurt on the job, immediately report the injury to your site supervisor and the branch staff. You can call MEDCOR at any time (24/7) to speak directly to a registered nurse about your injury and for help in making the right decision in getting medical care. Note: For immediate medical attention, or life-threatening injuries, call 911. Ask your branch for more details about the program.

Injury Procedures –Combine with MEDCOR info

If you are injured on the job, follow these steps:

Call your Liberty Staffing branch immediately.

After hours, if you have a minor work-related injury that may not need full professional medical treatment, call MEDCOR to speak with a registered nurse who can assess your condition: 1-800-775-5866. Report the injury to your Liberty Staffing branch as soon as possible.

If the injury is serious or life-, or limb-threatening, call 911 immediately and report the injury to the Liberty Staffing office as soon as you can.

SAFETY

Safety is our top priority and we want it to be yours, too! You must wear and/or use any PPE/Safety equipment that might be required by the type of work performed. Please call the branch immediately if the job is unsafe or different than the branch staff explained. Don’t work in any job you feel is unsafe. Remember to be smart and safe!

Many of these come in handy for Liberty Staffing jobs and can expand the types of jobs you’re eligible for. Once you complete any training, let your local branch know so we can update your profile!

FOOD HANDLER’S PERMIT

Some of our Clients require food handlers’ certification. If this is something you think that you might need. Please visit your state’s Department of Health website to learn the training and test required for your Food Handler’s Permit. It can also be called a Food Worker Card. Or you can go to.

TRANSPORTATION WORKER IDENTIFICATION CREDENTIAL (TWIC)

This is often a mandatory requirement to work at a port or in a maritime area. The certification is administered through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
